Diego is the Co-Founder & Chairman of Quercus Real Assets. He co-founded Quercus Investment Partners now Quercus Real Assets over 10 years ago building it into a leading investment manager with c€1bn of assets which he sourced, managed and ran.

He has worked in investment banking and finance for more than 17 years and has been involved in the renewable energy sector since 2009.

Diego has extensive experience in cross border financing having worked with corporates as well as municipal and government linked institutions across Europe. Prior to founding Quercus, Diego established a successful consultancy business and was, amongst other roles, Managing Director for Commerzbank and IMI bank in London, where he led due diligence on a variety of complex corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions. He started his career at Caboto Securities, the British investment banking arm of Banca Intesa.

Diego holds a degree in Economics from Ca‘ Foscari University of Venice where he has been invited back on several occasions to deliver lectures in financial markets economics.

Kristiana is the Head of Sales for Continental Europe and MENA  at Yahoo EMEA. Over the past 16 years she has created new approaches in driving sales through creativity and service excellence and is known for building winning teams. Kristiana is responsible for multimarket account development and profitable revenue growth with major agencies and blue chip clients.

Results-focused, with a natural flair for business strategy, she leads transformational change and new market penetration and due to her successful track record Kristiana is now recognised in the media industry as a dynamic, internationally-experienced and versatile business leader.

Kristiana is known for her incredible management skills and ability to enrich and develop people and their capabilities. During her years at Yahoo, Kristiana has played a key role at the organisations various talent projects aimed at attracting, training and growing new talent as well as championing a healthy work environment.

Giuliano has over 25 years of International experience in financial markets.  He has held senior management and executive roles in the City (LIFFE – London International Financial Futures Exchange, Caboto Securities – an investment bank and FOA – Futures and Options Association).

Over the years, Giuliano has provided expert advise to senior management and Board members of a number of large organisations, such as the London Clearing House, the Italian Stock Exchange and several electronic trading platforms by professionally consulting them on strategy, business and product development. He was also the co-founder of an e-commerce publishing company. He is an excellent public speaker and the author of several articles, courses and educational material.

Giuliano is an independent derivative and foreign exchange trader, and a trading systems developer and delivers trading courses and coaching through City firms as well as via his own website, blog and trading room.

Giuliano holds a degree in Economics from Venice Ca’Foscari University, an MBA from Milan Bocconi University and has attended a Management course at IMD Lausanne Business School.
